Very impressive use of data and graphics by http://www.wunderground.com to produce what they call their Wundermap. And, it now looks as if Irene is forecast to diminish by the time it reaches New York. A Stage 1 Hurricane is still a serious storm, but the earlier forecast from the National Weather Service said it would hit the New York area as a Stage 2 storm.
